Skins are by Ken "Kenn" Hallaron, making use of the Gryphon's base skin. They are all for either Renegade's Atom_GA1_Ren or Renegade's Atom_GA2_Ren.

The two hexed meshes are by Kenn, hexed from Renegade's Atom_GA1_Ren and Atom_GA2_Ren

Al Pratt was a short guy. He only stood 5'1" tall. His college "chums" teased him about his height, and girls wouldn't give him the time of day. He helped a bum out one evening when he was feeling down, and bought him dinner. The bum was Joe Morgan, a former champion prize fighter coach. Joe agreed to train Al, make him strong and teach him how to fight.

Al took a semester off, took Morgan to the farm he had inherited and they did just this.

When Al returned to school, no one noticed that, while still short, he had bulked up. And for other reasons, rather than go into prize fighting or any other sports, Al turned to masked vigilateism as the Atom. (Thankfully, no one remembered they used to call Al Pratt, "Atom Al.")

In 1948, Al developed super human strength due to exposure to radiation years earlier. He then adopted a newer, "more typical" super hero suit. Sadly, DC was lacking a style sheet. The details on the golden age costume changed often.

There was his original outfit that he wore from 1940 until 1948 (atom_ga_1940). But in "All-Star Squadron," in the 1980s, his orage lapels were coloured red (atom_ga_1940_r). Then there is the costume he adopted in 1948; the crest added to his cowl was USUALLY shown low end in fron, high in back and with long sleeves (atom_ga2_ren_rev_fin). But after the Justice Society revival in the 1960s, the crest was usually shown forward. His belt was also sometime shown red, but sometiomes it was blue (atom_jsa_1967). And then in the 1980s, they started giving him short sleeves again. And the belt still flipped between red (atom_jsa_1981) and blue (atom_jsa_1983). And by 1985 they were colouring his brown gauntlets red (atom_jsa_1985). WHEW!

In the early 1990s, there was another JSA revival. This time, they gave him a whole new look inspired by his his original outfit, and the outfit worn by Ray Palmer, the second Atom. He was wearing this uniform (atom_ga1_ren_1990) when he was killed.
